Packed up early in the AM to find the Cookoff
Had to stop and ask for directions
Once we got there the views were fantastic
We got there about 6:30 and found "All the cooks were nestled all snug in their beds....
while visions of Terlingua danced through their heads...."

Things got hopping...hopping to get undercover
most of the cooks just huddled under cover and socialized
during the "lesser bouts of rain" some cooks ventured forth
some to take a break - others to switch tents
others to harass just about everybody with that damn marshmellow gun
a few locals came for tasting
and 2nd place showmanship goes to....what was this guys name again??

We moved on to Carlsbad Caverns after the Cookoff
The Rain followed us from Cloudcroft
But it Didn't dampen our spirits!
