The Band came back for Day 3
Day #3 -
23rd Annual Bill Miller Mile High Chili Cook off - 6th
Place Green, 6th Place Red
The Third day started on a solemn
note, Bill
Miller a friend and fellow chili cook passed away the
night before. This day was dedicated to Bill and the
Cook-off renamed - The Bill Miller - Mile High
Regional. Mother Nature was still sending us gusts of
wind which actually blew a couple of stoves right off
the table. However, in the end the wind died to a
breeze and we put our hearts into our craft. Steve
Tomasek won Salsa this day to complete his Hat Trick for
the year. Donations were taken throughout the day for
the Miller family. Everyone donated their Prize Money
to the Miller fund. This is truly what cook offs are
all about.
