Well we finally did it. After
years of not even placing in anything but showmanship,
we finally won the Colorado State Chili Championship.
Last year we had a glimmer by placing 6th but this year
we went over the top. As always the event was
perfect for a cookoff. Downtown Grand Lake
Colorado. Colorado's largest natural lake nestled in the
Rocky Mountains was the backdrop for this 25th annual
event. Music, Food, Craft Fair and a Silent
Auction rounded out the day. We had cooks from
Illinois, Colorado, and Nebraska
